1.
Trajectory 03:39
It's been a while, time to let go And I feel like I was dreaming It's not easy, a failing trajectory I always thought that you would complete me And maybe someday I'll find the words Times that we smiled, they meant the world So what now? I'm having trouble sleeping So what now? I'm thinking of who we were (Give) Give me back my dreams
2.
Run 01:39
Take hold, you have my devotion in your hands Long for, your precious sweet embrace From a standstill, I'm coming back to you Can we run? Away for me here (Take hold, you have my devotion in your hands)
3.
We don't speak anymore We don't laugh anymore The joy has left your face Isn't that a shame? We don't kiss anymore I forgot the taste of your lips Isn't that a shame? All for nothing There's things we can't say Your words are like a loaded gun (You've always had a way with words) Drive, put the car in drive Drive, I can't take the silence anymore Isn't that a shame? We don't talk anymore Go waste someone else's life
4.
Floor 03:38
I still live in our old town Across the street from your old house They tore down the fence that your mother painted And boarded up the home you hated And sometimes I still think of you I want to feel that love again I want to feel safe, safe from all the changes Safe from all the world I've been alive too long To be sleeping on the couch again Mattress on the floor Wrapped in all my silence I'm tired of feeling fragile Walking around with this pain

about

The Arrival Note is a newly formed emo band from Tampa Bay, Florida by members Joshua Howell (Stedfast, Point of Contact, Contention) and Kyle Weidner. On their debut, self-titled EP, the band combines both the post-hardcore and indie rock that largely influenced the sound of the ’90s emo. Songs like ‘Trajectory’ and ‘Floor’ display the slow, melodic guitars leading to explosive choruses—pulling in the influences of bands like Mineral and Braid, while songs ‘Run’ and ‘Isn’t That a Shame’ show a faster, aggressive side of emo—influenced by bands like Texas is the Reason and Hey Mercedes. The Arrival Note pulls these sounds in from track to track and sequence them perfectly, showing they are very capable of playing a dynamic style in the genre.
